Learning for Life and Work at Nendrum College

Subject is taught in a modular form. The pupils study 3 modules over the 2 years. This subject is to become compulsory in the curriculum in 2 years time.

KS3: Introducing Citizenship.

Modules of work on citizenship are on the themes of:

Diversity and Inclusion
Equality and Social justice
Democracy in Action

This will be taught in the PSD periods.

KS4: GCSE Learning for Life and Work.

The 3 modules include:

PSHE
Citizenship
Learning for Work

This subject involves a lot of oral discussion, with pupils becoming confident in expressing their opinions and accepting the views of others.
