This subject is taught using pupil friendly textbooks and resources. Extension activities are used to stretch pupils and assist them in reaching their academic potential. Examinations and tests follow a short and structured question format.

 

 

An integral part of learning is done outside the classroom and the department organises regular educational visit,eg. The Somme Centre, The Tayto Factory and in June 2009 we visited the World War I battle sites in Northern France.
